    God, how I loved astronomy and science fiction as a boy. I dreamt of distant stars and nebulae.

    This should be exciting for me, and it is. In a Schadenfreud kind of way. But learning about the sickening entanglement of government and science has soured me a bit. It also worries me slightly that space is falling to foreign nationals and private enterprise.
